William Milburn Myrick Coward was born June __, 1834 in Barnwell County, South Carolina, and died in Walker Co, Texas between 1900-1910, Walker County, Texas
This family lived in Montgomery Co., Texas, 1860, 1870 and the Black Jack Community/Pine Valley, Walker Co., Tx 1880 until their deaths, and are probably buried in the Black Jack Cemetery there, though I have not located markers.
He was the son of James R. Coward & wife Harriett Jackson of Barnwell Co, S. C., and his occupation was farming.
He married Mary A. Clark about 1856, who was born in April, 1834 in Alabama, according to census records. Her parentage is not yet proven by me. She died in Walker Co, Texas after 1910. Her maiden name came from her daughter, Alice May Coward Polk's Death Certificate-Informant-T. M. Polk, Husband.
