Mitchel  "Mitch" Rambin was born March 7, 1866 Nacog. Co, Tx. and died: Mar. 17, 1934
in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
He was the son of Francois Alexis (Alexander) Rambin & wife Elizabeth Stephens
He married Lela Boatman, Dec. 15, 1892 Nacog. Co, Tx ,Dtr of David Boatman & Elizabeth (Acrey) Wright
Lela was born April 18, 1874  & Died Sept 11, 1956
Both  are buried @ Bethel Cem, Appleby, Nacog. Co, Tx

Mitch Rambin operated a General Mercantile store from his home for many years, though he was a farmer by occupation, one of his crops being tobacco.

Nacogdoches County  )  Know all men by these presents that for the love and affection I have for my son Mitch Rambin, and for the further consideration hereinafter set out and upon the condition hereinafter named, and the sum of $1.00 cash to me in hand paid by Mitch Rambin, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I, Elizabeth Rambin, of the above State and County, for the consideration hereinbefore named and the consideration hereinafter named and set out,  have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, sell, convey and deliver unto the said Mitch Rambin of Nacogdoches County, Texas, all of the following tract of land located and situated in Nacogdoches County, Texas and being the 320 acres of Alexander Rambin Survey about 11 1/2 miles N. 47 E of the City of Nacogdoches and is the same land mentioned and fully described in a deed to Elizabeth Rambin by J. S. Rambin, Etal dated Feb. 26, 1890, which deed is duly recorded in Vol 27, on pages 244 and 245 of the real estate records of Nacogdoches County, Texas, to which deed and the record thereof reference is there now made for a more full and complete description of the said tract of 320 acres of land herein conveyed, sold.  To have and to hold the above described premises together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise pertaining thereto unto the said Mitch Rambin, his heirs and assigns forever, and I hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators to forever warrant and defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Mitch Rambin., his heirs and assigns forever against all claims of whatever kind of any person whomever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.  The above condition conveyance is made upon the following conditions namely that whence I am old and and unfit and unable to make a livelihood for myself and have no means of support and am dependant upon the said land herein and the ___ to be  that __ produced therefrom for my support and for the comfort and pleasure of life and whence my son Mitch Rambin has for the past several years cheerfully and without compensation supported my every want, need, and desire and has this day signed and herein obligated himself, his heirs, and assigns, executors and administrators to continue to supply me with every and all necessities of life, such as is and will be needed and required for my health and welfare, agreeing and herein binding himself to furnish me at all times with such funds as I may desire for my support and maintenance, and for my clothing, and when in  need of medicine and medical aid and assistance, as well as the proper care and treatment during any illness, if any I should have during the remainder of my natural life, and furnish me with a home, provisions, clothing, and money that I may need and desire for my desire and comfort through the remainder of my natural life and he also herein agreeing to give my body a decent Christian burial and paying such costs and expense as may be incurred therein; and upon my death the title herein as well as all other rights hereunder shall be and immediately become the property of the said Mitch Rambin, and his assigns or legal representatives in the event of the death of the said Mitch Rambin prior to my death, then this shall remain in full force and effect as long as his family heirs and legal representatives may see fit to carry out and comply with the terms hereof, it being expressly understood and herein agreed that a failure on the part of the grantee to carry out this agreement at all times will at once at my option terminate and make null and void this; it is also agreed that possession thereof is this day delivered unto said Rambin as well as the use and control of the same, with the right to use and control same and have the ___and manner thereof where the conditions hereinbefore set out , all interlining done before signing.  Witness my hand this May 20th, 1908.
